About this service |
How does it work? |
Very easy. You register for free. After the registration, an activation code is sent by email to the email address you provided. Simply open the email from us and click on the link provided in the email to automatically activate your account. A free profile is then created with the information you had entered during registration.
Once your account is activated, you can then login using the username and password you had chosen during registration.
You can send messages to “Premium Members” for free. A “Premium Member” is a member with a paid membership. To be able to contact other members that are NOT “Premium Members”, you have to be a “Premium Member”. In summary, to be able to contact anyone, either you or that member has to be a Premium Member. A “Premium Member” indication is displayed on each Premium Member profile.
By becoming a Premium Member, you will be able to contact all members and also allow any member to be able to contact you. The cost for Premium Membership is very low. To become a Premium Member, you first need to register and activate your free profile, then logon to your account to upgrade your membership. You will be given the option to either pay by credit card or mail your payment.
When you send a message to a member, the message does not go directly to his/her email address but rather to an internal messaging system. An email is sent to the member to whom you had sent a message
to notify him/her that he/she has received a new message and must login to their account to read it.
We do not provide any email address to any member. All email addresses are confidential and will never be shown to other members.

I am using the AOL (America Online) web browser. I can’t log in or stay connected to my account. What is the problem? |
Some login problems have been reported when some versions of the AOL web browser are used on this site. In order to prevent the login problems, please use AOL to connect to the internet but after you are connected to the internet, use a different web browser (such as Internet Explorer or Netscape which you can just launch afterwards if any of them is already installed in your computer) to go to our site. If after using Internet Explorer or Netscape you are still having trouble logging in, please read the answer to the next question.
|
 |
Are you having some login problems after having registered and activated your account? Have you entered your correct username and password but keep getting sent back to the Login page? |
If you have already registered and activated your account, you must be able to login using the username and password you provided during registration.
Passwords are case-sensitive, so make sure you follow the proper case when entering your password.
If you keep getting sent back to the Login screen after you have entered your correct username and password, try the following:
– Delete all your internet browser’s cookies and clear its cache (for Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options and click on Delete Cookies, Delete Files, Clear History). Reboot your computer and try logging in again. If this does not work, try the next step.
– If deleting the cookies and clearing the cache did not work, your internet browser may need to be configured to accept cookies from this website. Click below on the name and version of the internet browser that you are using to find out how to configure it to accept cookies (If you don’t know your browser’s version, click on “Help” or “?” in the menu on the top of your screen and then click on “About
”.)

Mailbox/Messages |
How do I send a message to a member? |
Click on the member name to view his/her profile. Once you are in the profile page for that member, you can click on the “Contact” button to send him/her a message.
|
 |
I am receiving too many messages. What can I do? |
You can set up your message filter options by going to “Mailbox” and then “Options” to specify which type of members may send messages. For example, if you want to receive messages ONLY for members between the ages of 40 and 50, you can set up your filter parameters as such. This will block any member younger than 40 or older than 50 to send you messages.
|
 |
I send a message to X. Can I find out if X had read the message? |
Yes, you can. Just go to “Mailbox” and clik on “Sent messages” to see all the messages you have sent and whether or not they have been read by their recipient. Please note that if X has read and then deleted your message, the message you sent will not be visible in “Sent messages”.
